After retiring from the Military he worked at Canadian Tire with Mom – both of them working and doing any odd jobs that needed to be done in the store. Dad picked up the travel bug from Mom, spending time traveling overseas, cruising, and visiting Florida annually. Throughout the years Dad always loved to learn about and research his family history. They always made it a priority to always keep close ties to their families making regular visits to family throughout Canada and the United States.  They could always be counted on to be there when you needed them.
