Our sincere sympathy to all of Carol’s family. Carol was the best kind of friend, the ‘tell it like it is’ type with a great sense of humour. We enjoyed our coffee get togethers with both Stan and Carol in Broadview. They will always be with all of us in memories. “Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day..”

We have such great memories of visiting with Carol, going for coffee and always had the best conversations. She always asked about our family and we were always equally as interested. She spoke of all her family, was so proud of you all. She always had a zest for life, and I know she had a really rough time after Stan passed away. She was so resilient and I always admired how strong she was after all the things that happened to her.
Never a dull conversation and always curious about things. When I broke my foot a few years ago (Sherry) she came over and did out bedding and stuff. She wanted to help and for that I will always be grateful.
Carol also came over and made thin bread with us, she always wanted to try making it so she did! and I know she loved it too.
Carol had so much regard for others but she also always spoke what was on her mind, and we loved her for that. She was a bit outspoken! haha but that is what made her great. She had the best sense of humor too.
We are grateful to have known her when they lived in Broadview, and grateful to be able to continue on our friendship in Regina. There are a lot of things I'll remember about Carol, things that make me smile and make me laugh out loud too. Ron always called her his "girlfriend" haha and she would laugh!
We will truly miss Carol, I still can't believe she's gone. I said to her a month ago, that I wasn't ready to let her go yet and she said yah.......I know...........we spoke openly about her illness and what was happening. It made me sad to see her suffer, and thats the last thing I wanted for her.
I believe she is pain free, happy and reunited with Stan - for that I am grateful too. She deserves to be basking in Gods love and is free from all worries and pain.
We are grateful to have known Carol and to have called her our friend, she made our life better.
God bless all of her family, once again our deepest condolences to you all.
