So sorry to hear of Duane's passing, although I have not seen him much in recent years, I remember him when he was in his teens, he reminded me of Ricky Nelson. My favorite cousin... God Bless you all !

Duane was a very special man, even though he came into our lives at a later date. He gave the best hugs and was interested in all our families lives. He was so proud of all his family and you should have a lot of great memories to treasure.

So many wonderful memories spent with Karen and Duane over the years. He was like a brother and always was so thoughtful and generous. He has held such an important place in the Cooper family and his death will leave a large void. We are forever grateful for his love and dedication to our sister. A gentle soul has left this earth. Rest in peace Duane!

Hugs to all of you. I have many memories of Duane. The best was when our family mixed curling team played his family team in the early 1980s in Lumsden. I wish I had pictures and/or videos of that. thanks.

To the Klippenstine Family. My heart felt condolences with the loss of Duane (he will always be Klipper to me). He was a true friend, a great man, and I will always have him near to my heart. Many, many curling stories could be told here, amongst other things. But I can honestly say that I have never met a kinder more generous man in my life. I wish you all the strength you need to get through this sorrowful time. But at the same time, don't forget to celebrate the amazing life he had.

My dear brother in law will be so missed. I first met him as a 15 yr old girl when he started dating my sister Karen. I have 55 years of memories, perhaps the one that stands out is the canoe trip he arranged with my husband and other brothers in law. I think there was rum involved by the end . He was also famous for his shortcuts which landed us in a stubble field. What fun we had.
He was a good friend and I will miss him.
