Obituary of Ronald Jeffery Schmalenberg

Sadly we announce the passing of Ron on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the age of 73 years. He was predeceased by his dad George and mom Minnie; brother Norman; and sister Margie. Loving husband, father and grandfather, he leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Mary of 47 years; his son Jeffery (Alison); his daughter Nancy (José); two grandchildren Makayla and Chloe; sister-in-law Janice; and his nieces Sandra and Karen and their families. He had a lifelong love for farming, curling and football. During his retirement he enjoyed watching gameshows. Many thanks to the staff of the ICU at the Regina General Hospital for the care they gave to Ron. Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Ron’s name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation.
