On Friday, November 9, 2018 we tucked our sweet warrior Grayson in and said goodnight. With Mama and Daddy by his side, he joined the angels in Heaven. He was a courageous boy who battled Cancer for six of his nine months. Grayson is forever loved and leaves behind his Daddy and Mama Cameron and Cassandra and big sister Elliahna Rieger; Papa and Nan Conrad and Karen Rieger, Besta and Baba David and Laurie-Anne Rusnak; Auntie and Uncle Amanda and Clayton (Jesse) Geck, Uncle and Auntie Jordan and Jennifer (Konnor) Rieger, Uncle and Auntie Christopher Rusnak and Elizabeth Farmer, Auntie and Uncle Janna-lea and Justin (Isla and Maddux) Yawney; and Great-Grandparents, Henry Tkatchuk and Michael and Doris Rusnak. He joins in Heaven his Great-Grandparents, Anthony and Eva Rieger, Allan and Doreen Mireau and guardian angel Granny Agnes Tkatchuk. A Memorial Service for Grayson will be held at Resurrection Parish, 3155 Windsor Park Road, Regina, SK on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. The family kindly requests the presence of children and bright attire as we wish to celebrate our beautiful boy, who was full of light and love. In lieu of any flowers, cards or gifts, we wish for donations in Grayson’s name to either Childhood Cancer Canada, 21 St. Clair Avenue East, Suite 801, Toronto, ON M4T 1L9 or to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation, 1-345 Third Avenue South, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1M6. We need to do more for our children battling this horrible disease. We humbly thank all of the physicians, nurses, social workers, therapists, child life specialists, and support staff that worked so very hard to help Grayson at Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon Cancer Centre, Allan Blair Cancer Centre, CancerCare Manitoba and CK-5 and PICU at The Children’s Hospital of Winnipeg.
