Rolanda passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 in her 97th year in Sidney, B.C.  She grew up in Saskatchewan in the Milestone / Wilcox area and raised her family with Ernie. She loved to paint and garden and was active in lawn bowling, swimming, walking and curling. Most important to her was family and her faith. She was predeceased by husband Ernest April 11, 2009; and son Gordon April 15, 2011.  Rolanda is survived by brother Wilf (Desnoyers) Regina, SK; children Joy (John) Sidney, BC, Wayne (Joan) Michigan and Texas, Dianne (Dave) Oshawa, ON, Bev (Ken) Ennismore, ON, Lorna Winnipeg, MB, Lorraine (Ed) Lloydminster, AB and Rosanne (Pat) Calgary, AB; special friend Alf McMillan; twenty two grandchildren; twenty six great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, 3239 Garnet Street, Regina, SK, on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. An Interment will be a private family ceremony in Wilcox following the reception.
