So sorrry for Alta's passing but grateful for her life-long friendship with Mom - from skipping classes to weekly bridge. Will miss seeing her at the symphony and LLLC and her interest in our families.

Jim, Donna and family Many years ago, Alta was welcoming to a new and very young member of "Engineers wives" - imagine those times - and I was very appreciative. Over the years, though I did not know Alta well, she was always friendly and generous of herself when we met. I have a very warm memory of Alta, and send my deepest condolences on her passing. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Alta as such a pretty, feisty, accomplished and athletic woman. She and Mom were great friends and I know attended Symphony together many times. I remember that (SO many years ago!) she had us over for dinner the day Mom and Dad and we kids moved to South Regina--such a considerate and supportive gift, for which I am still thankful.
