Julia passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at the age of 100 years. She was predeceased by her husband Elmer; and eight siblings. Julia is survived by her sons, Don (Helen) and Gary (Carol); five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Peggy Brooks and Jean Kincaid; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Graveside Service will be held at Riverside Memorial Park, 815 Assiniboine Avenue East, Regina, SK on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held at Avonlea Community Hall, Avonlea, SK on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Julia may be made to Coteau Range Manor Inc., P.O. Box 60, Avonlea, SK S0H 0C0.
