Obituary of Robert Karl Heinrich Jors

Robert Jors was born on September 9, 1931 in Grossenaspe, Germany. He was a long time Resident of Regina and then later Silton, SK. Robert passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday November 29, 2018 at the age of 87 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Paul Johann Max and Marie Luise Jors; brothers Max and Hans Jors; wives Martha Jors (nee Kreis) and Elizabeth Borberly (nee Csillag). Robert is survived by his children Del, Curt (Deborah), and Cindy (Keith) Goosen; his grand children  Dean (Tara), Amanda (Justin Nord), Josh (Sarah), Chris (Jessica) Domokos, Stacia, Tanner, Ulrich, Katrina, Jared, Dylan, Bryden; by his great grandchildren Anderson and Jackson; sisters Anneliese Krumnow (Rolf Buschow) (Silton, SK), Eyke Paula Stahn (Campbell River, BC), Rosemarie (Dartmund, Germany); brother Heinrich Klaus (Ruth) (Grossenaspe, Germany). Robert retired in 1992 from the City of Regina after 37 years and moved to his acreage in 1998 where he enjoyed many years tending to his chickens and pigeon, growing flowers and fruit trees. He loved to travel, play cards and watch birds and nature of all kinds. When he could no longer look after the acreage, he moved to the Bentley retirement residence where he continued with playing cards and the occasional dance. He touched many and will be sadly missed.
