Most people have one mother in their life, I had two!! Mrs Blakley and her husband epitomized true western Canada hospitality in all of it's shapes and forms. They welcomed me into their home and into their lives with no reservations. They also raised an incredible son who became my dearest friend. I'll never forget the times I would sit in their living room, late at night, and talk with Mrs B. as she did puzzles. There was always a bed for me and food in the fridge, if that isn't family I don't know what is. Mrs Blakley will be sorely missed by all and my heart goes out to the Blakley clan and all who knew her and loved her. God Bless.
