Dear Anthony, Kathy, Mark, Paul, and family,
We were very sorry to learn of your Mom's departure from this world. She was such a warm, caring woman who was kind to everyone;her smile would light up an entire day. When I came to St. Matthew School in the early 1970's as a young teacher, she was so welcoming and encouraging. And she continued to be so as a fellow CWL member and parishioner of St. Martin's Church.
Rose's four children are a rich testimony to your dear parents. We wish you strength and hope that your hearts will soon ease as your sorrow turns to gratitude for the wonderful woman you got to call Mom.
I was sorry not to attend Rose's funeral. Tuesday is my day at the Marian Center, and I knew she would want me to be there. I thought of all of you that day.

Memories of your mom, my mom's sister and aunt of hundreds of members of family will bring smiles. If for nothing else, just to feel the pride of knowing and loving Auntie Rose. Our wish for you all is that the pain be short lived and you can resume sharing all that was good about her. Love you all

Dear Mark, Anthony, Kathy, and Paul:
The news of the passing of your mother, a woman of unmatched kindness, caring, and strength, is sad, indeed. Mrs Weisshaar’s sincere words, her concern for all, her industriouness, and her need to feed are just some examples of her spirit that come to mind. So sorry for your loss; thinking of you.
Kind regards from

Dear Mark, Tony, Kathy, and Paul
Brenda and I are thinking of you at this time. We last spoke with Rose in the fall when we were in Regina. Although she had been unwell, her vibrant character and genuine interest in our lives warmed our hearts. We were able to laugh and reminisce around some memories of our parents and family. For over five decades our respective families were anchors in the neighbourhood, and so now the memories of Rose are anchored in the hearts of those She Loves.
God Bless You All

Dear Mark, Anthony, Paul, Kathy and families,
We were so very sorry to learn of Rose's passing. She was such a beautiful spirit and it was a privilege and a pleasure to know her. The warmth of her greeting and her smile could make such a difference to one's day; one felt that she reached right through to the soul.
When Laurie first began to teach at St. Matthew School, Rose's warm welcome and encouragement helped lead to a blessed experience in that community.
Rose's rich spiritual depth and kindness live on in you, her children. You were all fortunate to have such admirable parents. May God bless you all as you carry on their example of how to live a life.

Kathy, Anthony, Mark, Paul and Families: we are so very sorry for your loss. Rose was such a wonderful person and it was a pleasure to spend time with her. As the song goes, I bet she is dancing in the sky and singing in the angel's choir. Rose was a joy to be around and she has left such a wonderful legacy in her family, friends and all who knew her. Thinking of you.

Dear Mark and family,
We were sorry to learn of your mom’s passing and offer our prayers and condolences. We came to know Rose at St. Martin’s, of course, but also at the Animal Clinic where her soft spot for animals was clear. As was beautifully noted in today’s newspaper, family, faith and friends were the pillars around which Rose’s life revolved. It is hard to imagine anyone gaining more joy, peace, and satisfaction from these things. I’m sure she will be in the front row at mass this Sunday with your dad in the great church beyond!

We would like to express our sincere condolences to Rose’s family. We always enjoyed visiting with Rose and Carl and their family on many occasions. Our last visit with Rose was at her brother-in-law, John Weisshaar’s 90th birthday where we had our usual great conversation with her. She was a genuine and special person who will be missed dearly.
