Obituary of Maria Kovacevic

KOVACEVIC, Maria

On Sunday, March 10, 2019 Maria (Oblak) Kovacevic passed away peacefully at the age of 95. She was predeceased by her husband Berislav; one son Otto; and 12 siblings. Maria is survived by three sons, Andre (Marah) of Toronto, Alex (†Mirra) of Regina, and Glen (Karen) of Regina; one grandson Kelly (Kirsten); numerous nephews, nieces and close friends and neighbours.  Born in Croatia, Maria immigrated to Canada in 1956 and worked at SaskTel until her retirement. Family and friends of Maria are welcome to a celebration of her life at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Maria to Regina Wascana Grace Hospice, 50 Angus Road, Regina, SK S4R 8P6 (www.williamboothregina.ca/donate/).
