I've just recently learned of Paul's passing and wanted to pass on my sympathies, albeit, quite late. I did not know Paul personally but did have a competitive professional relationship with Paul's company, GE Ground Engineering. I'm sure he will be missed.

Jean, John, Sylvie, and family, my condolences to you and your family on the passing of Paul. I worked with Paul in Saskatchewan in the 60's, 80's and 90's on numerous challenging projects. He was a great friend and co-worker.

I’m so saddened to hear of Paul’s passing. It’s been many, many decades but your family is still near and dear to my heart. I visited my Sis Jackie Sunshine and her family - every summer for many years when we came up from Los Angeles. Lynn, Lorrie and I became fast friends during that first summer visit after they had moved next to you. Paul and Jean raised daughters that are beautiful inside and out! I looked forward with great excitement to seeing my Kozicki family each summer. That feeling and memory never goes away. I was a fortunate “outsiders” to witness and be included in at least one family steak dinner with Paul at the grill and Jean’s delicious & welcoming hospitality. I may have spent more time @ the Kozicki’s than at my sisters, many a day!!
It is testimony to the love Paul and Jean nurtured (62yrs!!) and spread to now read of how Paul & Jean’s Family blossomed into such a beautiful large group! How lucky you all have been to have such a solid tradition of precious family meals. As a teen,,it struck me that Paul seemed such a humble man that spoke when he had something worthwhile to say. An Intelligent, kind, handsome(!), loving Father (Grandfather, Son) and lifelong Husband to Jean who cherished family and home in that extra special way rarely seen. Like his parents, he sowed the seeds of love and stayed down to earth with a genuinely golden heart. Although I won’t be able to attend on May 19th, you all will be in my thoughts and prayers that day, as you are today.

I was a next door neighbor for many years and have fond memories of this wonderful family. Lori & Lynn used to babysit my children. So sorry to hear of "Mr Kozicki's" passing. I have fond memories of all of our parents in the stands at basketball games...and how proud he was of his daughters' accomplishments.
He was one of the people who inspired me to go into engineering...if I hadn't gone the geology route, I almost certainly would have gone the geotechnical route. I didn't realize how many prominent buildings he worked on, or of his other endeavours. An engineer to the end!

I have very fond memories of Paul who I have respected for many years for projects I have worked on in Regina and throughout Saskatchewan. Since my early days at Prairie Surveys back in the 70's, then Cochrane Lavalin and finally at Delcan Engineering over my 42 year career, I have crossed paths with Paul on every challenging project that needed an "answer". Paul was always my "answer" and who's extensive technical knowledge brought positive direction to any on-going challenge. More importantly , his positive faith in his family and friends at a personal level was one that I strive to achieve every day in my life. I was very proud to have known Paul and even though I lost track of him over the last few years, I get great pleasure in having lunch with the Ground Eng.gang at the Hungarian Club and reflect and laugh on past memories...

I had the honor to be Paul's general insurance consultant for many years. During this time I was always pleased to see Paul over a cup of coffee in my office a few times annually. I always found him to be polite and a down to earth gentleman. We have all lost a great gentleman but the memories I hope will help to minimize the loss. My condolences to the entire family.
