Obituary of Rachel Lynn Geisam

Rachel, of Regina, SK, went to heaven on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at the age of 44 years.  She was predeceased by her father, Fern Thibault; her brother, Patrick; and her mother-in-law, Rolande Geisam.  Rachel is survived by her husband of twenty-three years, Cordon; children, Robyn (18), Jessica (16), Morgyn (13), and Nathan (12); mother, Nancy; sisters, Sharlene (Ken), Noreen (Curtis), Valerie (Travis); parents-in-law, Bryce (Geri); brother-in-law Curt (Monique), sisters-in-law, Donalie (Roger), and Comena (Ben); numerous nieces and nephews; and one future great-nephew.  Rachel’s dedication to God, her family and her friends was, and will continue to be, an inspiration to us all.  Each of us knows the joy and love that she had in her life and we look forward to seeing her again in heaven.  Visitation for family and close friends will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Friday, April 12, 2019 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.  Rachel’s Celebration of Life Service will take place at Heritage Alliance Church, 3575 Hillsdale Street, Regina, SK on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Rachel would want you to be comfortable, so feel free to wear jeans and colorful clothing.  Rachel loved perennials, so if you feel inclined to send a gift of flowers, we would encourage this choice so the kids can plant them in Rachel’s flower beds.  Also, friends so wishing may make donations, in memoriam, to the Regina Food Bank, 445 Winnipeg Street, Regina, SK, S4R 8P2, where Rachel served as a faithful volunteer.
