Obituary of Daniel Stoeck

It is with much sorrow that the family of Daniel Stoeck announces his passing at 90 years of age. Memories of Daniel will be cherished by his loving family, his wife of 62 years, Anni; sons, Herbert (Alison) and granddaughter Alyssa from Regina, Saskatchewan; and Harve (Jane) and granddaughter Sarah of Denver, Colorado; niece Elizabeth (Lohr); and nephew Gerhart of Edmonton, Alberta. He was predeceased by his brother Edmund and sister-in-law Hilda from Edmonton; and his brothers and sisters in Germany. Daniel was a very creative person, he was known for building the evacuation training simulator for Canadian Airlines; it was one of his proudest accomplishments. But his special pride was building and designing kitchen cabinets, speakers, offices, basements, renovating houses, and building furniture for his family. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and the many staff of the Regina Wascana Grace Hospice for their extraordinary compassion and care during Daniel’s time spent there. Funeral Service to Celebrate Daniel’s Life will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1909 Ottawa Street Regina, Saskatchewan, on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Daniel’s name to the Regina Wascana Grace Hospice, 50 Angus Road Regina, SK S4R 8P6.
