I really miss Gerry. He was, by far, one of my most favorite people to talk to everyday (and my favorite customer). We worked together for the last 5 years and he always made me laugh; it definitely added a bright spot to each work day. My sincerest condolences on his passing, I know he will be greatly missed by many.

I had the pleasure of knowing Gerry over a long period of time. Gerry Shortall was arguably the best computer salesman this city has ever known. He satisfied many, many customers over his lengthly career due to his superior level of customer service.
He was also a man of integrity, intelligence, and wit. He and his little red Mustang will be missed by many, many people.

My deepest condolences on the passing of Gerry. It was a shock as I only spoke
to him about 2.5 weeks ago. We used to have great conversations and I was
also an Elvis fan (thanks to my father). May his soul rest in peace

It was truly heart breaking to hear of Gerry's passing.
I've traveled into Regina for many years, and was privileged to know Gerry on a business as well personal level.
Almost every trip we would overlap for a lunch, dinner or evening at the casino for a few laughs - I truly enjoyed the banter - he was a character, and always knew what was going on through his vast network.
Something won't seem right now on these trips, and I, along with many of my company associates, will truly miss him.

My sincerest condolences to Gerry's family and friends.. I never had the pleasure of meeting Gerry, however I worked with him daily via phone for the last two years. I was extremely disheartened to learn of his passing when returning from my vacation today. With his multiple calls to me daily, Gerry would brighten every day sharing his infectiously positive personality. It's not common that someone you have never physically met can do this and make you feel that you have known them for a lifetime. I can only imagine how great a man he would have been to meet in person! May he rest in peace!

Kristy, we are so saddened to hear of the passing of your Dad. He was around our family for many years. We remember him as someone always ready to lend a helping hand. Our kids fondly remember Gerry as the man who loved wearing striped shirts! There is no question, your Dad loved you fiercely and was so proud of you. You and your family are in our thoughts at this difficult time.

I have many enduring memories of Gerry from our time together but one that stands out is when we were in Hawaii and he was dancing to the Bee Gees disco music in an all white suit. He gave John Travolta a run for his money! He was also a good daddy to our daughter - Kristy. My condolences to everyone.
