Obituary of Margaret Dorothy Lynn Perrault

We are deeply saddened to announce the loss of Margaret Dorothy Perrault (Driol) of Regina, SK.  She passed away peacefully with family at her side on Friday, April 19, 2019 at the age of 64, after a year-long battle with cancer.  Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Denis; sons, Robert (Lesley) and Jared (Karyn); grandsons, Hayden, Easton and Daxton; sisters, Lorelei Bernakevitch (Dan), Nadine (Bob) Johnson, Nolene (Merv) Barth and their families; the entire Bresciani and Perrault families who truly embraced her as one of their own; as well as many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law and friends.  She was predeceased by her mother Margaret-Rose (Bruno) Driol; grandparents Alfred and Margaret Berthiaume; mother and father-in-law, Lucienne and Josephat Perrault; and brother-in-law Pat Benakevitch. Margaret attended St. Mary Elementary School and O’Neill High School in Regina where she met the love of her life, Denis.  She worked for the Regina City Police before joining the staff at SIAST (SaskPolytech) where she happily worked in a variety of roles, developing many life-long friendships along the way.  Mickey Mouse, the Roughriders, the Blue Jays and many family pets brought her joy, but most of all, she was happiest while spending time with her grandsons.  Margaret also enjoyed winter holidays, travelling, camping, bowling, reading and spending time with family and friends. The family would like to extend sincere appreciation to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre and to the Palliative Care staff. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Parish, 1021 McCarthy Blvd. Regina, SK, on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 10:30 am.  Interment to follow in Riverside Memorial Park.  Family and friends so wishing may make donations, in memoriam, to the Hospitals of Regina Foundation, 1874 Scarth Street, Regina, SK, S4P 4B3.
