Obituary of Doris Irmgard Marcia

Doris, late of Regina, Sask., passed away peacefully on Wednesday May1, 2019 at the age of 84 years with her three sons at her side. She was predeceased by her husband John Marcia; her parents Leonhardt and Dorothea Miller; and her brothers and sisters, Erna Steffen, Eric Miller, Ernest Miller, Arthur Miller, Erwin Miller and Ruth Miller. Doris is survived by her son Daryl (Diana) Marcia, granddaughter Brandi and Bartt Timms, great-grandchildren Ella and Connor Timms, grandson Jordan Marcia, Faye Matt, great grandchildren John and Audrey Marcia; her son Marcel (Carmen Deck) Marcia, grandchildren Jeremy and Kassi Deck-Marcia; and her son Dean Marcia; as well as several brothers and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. As per mom’s wishes there will be no funeral service. A private family interment will take place. A small reception for family and friends will be held at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, on Monday, May 6, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. Those so wishing, may make memorial donations in Doris’s name to the William Booth Grace Hospice, 50 Angus Road, Regina, SK, S4R 8P6.
