Obituary of Bob Champion

Bob, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at the age of 73 years. He was predeceased by parents Robert and Velma Champion; son-in-law Cassell Nightingale; and partner Shirley Sundquist. Bob is survived by the mother of his children Janice Champion; daughters, Rhonda Nightingale, Donna Champion, Diane Hamilton, and Gloria Patrick; grandchildren, Josh Nightingale, Alicia Nightingale, Kaitlyn Patrick and Chloe Hamilton. Bob worked for 35 years at Sask Tel in electronics technology. He enjoyed all types of recreation, from hockey and baseball, to crosswords and cribbage. He had many friends near and far who will fondly remember his sense of humour and “punny” jokes. A Service to Remember Bob’s Life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.  A reception will follow at the Golden Sunset Club, 222 Diamond Place, Pilot Butte, SK from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Family and friends so wishing, may make memorial donations in Bob’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society, 440 2nd Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 2C3 or the Golden Sunset Club.
