On behalf of the SASBO members that were fortunate to have met Art, we extend our condolences to the family at this difficult time.
Many of us had the opportunity to spend time on the SASBO executive with Art and we all soon discovered the passion and dedication he had for the profession, education sector and more importantly for the children of this province.
Art was always positive and I will never forget the humor and fun he created with his stories and attendance at the executive meetings and SASBO social functions. He and Gail never missed an event. Even after his retirement from the business, he tried to attend every convention and made sure I knew he couldn't attend by a phone call to ensure I understood why!
Art was a class individual and will be sadly missed by all.
Rest in Peace
