It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Joyce Marlene Hein on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at the age of 72. Joyce was predeceased by her parents, George and Laura Kellington. She leaves to mourn her four children: Nadine Hillacre, Karen Houston, Glennis (Randy) French, and Trevor (Crystal) Hein. Joyce is also survived by 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who were her world: Stephanie, Shalane and Christopher Van de Wiele; Andrew, Brendan and Christopher Houston; Madison and Jennifer French; Everett, Evander and Grace Hein; and great-grandsons: Dominic Grobb and Calvin Tressel. She is also survived by her brother Cecil Kellington, sister Denise Stevens, and their families. Joyce was enjoying retirement, having left her job as a home care scheduler in 2015. She loved spoiling her grandchildren, spending time with her family, curling, “puttering” in her yard, everything Elvis, crokinole games, cooking too much food, attending concerts at the Show Lounge, and traveling with friends. Celebration of Life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, June 17, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
