One Year Memoriam

It is with great sorrow that one year ago, I lost the love of my life, my best friend, mother of our children and an unbelievable grandmother. I know that she is no longer in pain anymore and has her wings now because of the angel she is.

Miss you Debbie so much, all my love always, Jack.

MAY 14, 1957 – JUNE 13, 2019

Debbie passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at the age of 62 years. Anyone who knew Debbie knew what an amazing person she was. She was predeceased by her parents, Bud and Marie Otway; and two brothers. Debbie is survived by the love of her life, Jack; her daughter Candace (Rob); her son Micheal (Allie); her granddaughter Mikaya who loved to beat grandma in backgammon; her sweet grandson Dextyn; her sisters Donna and Tina; brother Danny; as well as extended family, Bob, Sharon, Rick, Barb, Kay, Peter, Bonnie, George, and Debbie; numerous nieces and nephews; and the Bridge Ladies. Friends are invited to join the family at a Graveside Service in Riverside Memorial Park, 815 Assiniboine Avenue East, Regina, SK on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Please meet inside cemetery gates. Immediately following the graveside service, please join the family for a reception at the Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make memorial donations in Debbie’s name to the Palliative Care, Unit 3A, Regina Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK, S4T 1A5.
