Obituary of Elaine Margaret Wright

1938-2019

Elaine, passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 in Regina, SK. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon Wright; parents James and Jean Loucks; brothers, James (Jim), William (Bill), Stan, and Don; and sister Lorraine.  Elaine is survived by her sons, Shayne (Laurie), Swayde (Shelley), Scott (Liza), Shawn (Tammy) and Sloyne (Francine); her grandchildren Jayden, Michael, Nightli, Amber, Tasjia and Madden; her sisters-in-law June Wright and Penny (Don) Rehmke; and numerous nieces and nephews. Elaine will be remembered for her sharp wit, love of the CFL and her unconditional love of family and adored dog Freddy. A lifetime spent working and caring for her five boys and now she can spend her afterlife enjoying coffee with dad and playing with Freddy. A Come and Go Celebration of Elaine’s Life will be held at the Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK, on Tuesday June 25, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Eulogies will start at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, friends so wishing may make donations in memoriam to the Regina Humane Society, P.O.
