Obituary of Peter Busko

Peter, late of Regina, SK passed away peacefully on Monday, July 1, 2019 surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 84 years. He was predeceased by his parents Teodor and Eva. Peter leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 56 years, Lois; daughters, Cheryl (Doug) Lipp of Dilke, SK and their children Clayton and Leah; Carla (Trevor) Crozier of Regina and their children Tanner and Hallie. He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings, Walter (Sarah, deceased) and Mary (Alex) Sowtis; as well as his brothers and sisters-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Peter was born in Tadmore, SK and moved to Regina in 1952. He worked at the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool for 37 years, where he met his wife Lois. Peter’s life was centred around his two daughters and their families, enjoying many family trips, gardening, and time spent together. His favourite pastime was attending all of the activities of his much loved grandchildren, whom he was deeply proud of. Peter was generous with his time, his help, and most of all his love. His kind and caring nature will forever be missed by his family and friends. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors of 3B at the Pasqua Hospital, who were absolute angels in their care for Peter.  A Service to Celebrate Peter’s Life will take place at Westminster United Church, 3025 13^th Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, July 5, 2019 at 10:30 a.m.  Family and friends so wishing may make donations, in memoriam, to Westminster United Church or Friends of 3B Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK S4T 1A5.
