Obituary of Effie Paraskevopoulos

Efstathia “Effie” Paraskevopoulos, of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully after a short but courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at the age of 63 years.  She was predeceased by her husband Charalabos (Bob); her mother Ioanna and her in-laws, Kanaris and Dimitra.  Effie is survived by her father Ioannis; daughter Dimitra; son Kanaris (Patty); two grandchildren Cora and Ava; brother Gus (Elizabeth); sister Cleopatra (Dimitris); brother-in-law Stavros(Barbara); sister-in-law Melitsa (George); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Effie worked at Regina Lutheran Home where she committed her time to caring for others.  She was passionate about cooking, gardening, spending time with her granddaughters and teaching them Greek songs and dances.  Effie was devoted to her family, and will be lovingly remembered for her kindness and generosity towards everyone that crossed her path.  The family would like to thank the doctors and amazing nurses that cared for Effie during her time in Unit 3B at the Pasqua Hospital.
