Obituary of Adrien Bernard Wollbaum
WOLLBAUM, Adrien
Adrien, late of Regina, SK, passed away with his family by his side, on Monday, July 15, 2019 at the age of 65 years. He courageously fought and took on, with grace, the rapid progression of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), which he was diagnosed with in November of 2016. Adrien was predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Regina Wollbaum. He is survived by his wife Carole; daughter April (Kelly Wiebe) and their children, David, Jacob, Isaac, and Emily Wiebe; daughter Lee Ann (Alan Cleary) and their son Cadan Cleary; siblings, Raymond (Phyllis), Fran (Brian), David (Randy), John (Val), Albert (Darlene), and Leonard (Maureen); along with many other family members, who loved and appreciated him. Adrien was an avid curler and was known for playing broomball as a young man with his brothers. He had a full career with Canada Postal Service and enjoyed the work he did at the Royal Regina Golf Club in his retirement. Adrien had a wonderful sense of humour and a warm smile. He loved his family fiercely and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. The family extends their deepest thanks to all those at the Lutheran Home, who made it a place where Adrien felt cared for and comfortable. Memorial Service will be held at St. Basil’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1757 Toronto Street, Regina, SK on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at the Vibank Cemetery.
