Obituary of Verna Helen Watts

It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of Verna Watts, our wife, mother, and grandmother. Verna passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the age of 80 years. She was predeceased by her parents Val and Clara Heinrich; brothers, Jim and Darrel; and sister Louise Hollerbaum. Verna will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years, Howard; son Doug (Kim) Watts; daughter Delaine (Kevin) Myers; grandchildren Brandon (Courtney) Watts, Brittney Watts (Ryan Johnson), Jackie Myers (Mitchell Johnstone), Carla Myers (Ryan Strassburger), and Ryan Myers; great-grandchildren, Noah, Ezme, Carter, Remy, Ryah, Wyatt and Addyson, as well as many other family and friends. We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to the nurses and staff at the All Nations Healing Hospital in Fort Qu’Appelle for the care and compassion they showed to Verna. Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Thursday July 25, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with Jeff Christensen officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Verna's name to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, 150 Albert Street, Regina, SK, S4R 2N2, a cause that was dear to Verna.
