Obituary of Art Yip Yee Wong

Art, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully with family at his side on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at the age of 98 years. He was born in Taishan, Guangdong, China. Art was predeceased by his wife Jean of 78 years; parents; sister, and two brothers.  He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his eight children:  Lillian, Jim (Suzanne), Jack, Walter, Norm (Rita), Sue (Ron), Charlie (Rhonda), and Betty (Don); 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Art was a husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend to many.  Dad had a huge heart and his happy disposition touched many lives. Art, along with his brothers and their parents share the successful legacy of Wong's farm in Lumsden and in his love of his family. We will greatly miss our father, grandfather and great-grandfather. The family are grateful to the doctors and staff at Parkside for their outstanding care of dad. Public Visitation will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, August 16, 2019 from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.
