We are saddened to hear of Allie's passing. Fred & Allie were our neighbors on Cameron Cres.
Our families were connected through schools, teachers and gymnastics.
She was a great conversationalist. And we lovingly remember how Fred always said she was his other "Sweetie".

Allie was a wonderful woman who welcomed us warmly into the family. We were so glad to have been able to spend time with both Allie and Fred on our visits to Regina. They raised a beautiful family and we wish you all peace at this sad time.

A memorial Mass will be said for her here at San Guiseppe Church in Santa Marinella, Italy. Our love and prayers to all of the Wihak and extended families.

Laurie, Al, Jesse, Sally and David,
Rod and I were so sorry to hear of Allie's passing. I have many fond memories of her, sitting on your deck, visiting, and watching the children play, Conversations with her were so varied, interesting and informative. She, and Fred, were always so gracious, inviting the Durham Drive Gang over to swim in their pool. Allie was such a kind, gentle, accepting, vibrant and intelligent person, and it shows in the successes and varied careers of her children. We know she will be sadly missed.

To the Wihak Family:
Your mother was a very special lady. I only knew her as kind and gentle. We met many years ago through Christ the King CWL. She was an inspiration for me and a sign of Christ for many of us. I feel blest to have known her.
I'm sure the love she generously shared, will carry her to that welcoming place beyond.

My heart goes out to the wonderful Wihak family on the loss of their vibrant matriarch, Allie. I only know two Wihaks - Marian and Mark. I had the absolute pleasure of making two films with Mark, many years ago, and was delighted to see him just last month for lunch here in Toronto. I never got to meet Allie but I count her daughter Laurie and husband Al as great friends. Knowing Laurie as I do, I always imagined she would have a wonderful and fascinating Mom (and Dad). From what I have read about Allie, she certainly led a full life with great curiosity, laughter, volunteering, and worldwide travels It is no wonder that she had seven highly educated children. My condolences to her family and I know you will cherish your time with and memories of her.
