Kathleen, born on November 3, 1930, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 26, 2019 at the age of 88 years. She was predeceased by her husband Frank. Kay is survived by her four children and eight grandchildren: Christine, Chuck (Helen), their children, Evan (Catherine), Ryan (Robyn), and Kyla (Vince), Greg (Helen), their children, Stacy (Devin) and Amanda, and Ann (Chris), their children, Lindsay, Sam, and Jack. She is also survived by her sister Liz Wapple. Kay grew up in Saskatoon and became a teacher, marrying Frank in 1954. She loved teaching, and later earned her B.Ed. at age 54. She also loved sewing, handcrafts, baking, entertaining and family vacations at Emma Lake. Kay was a lifetime Girl Guide and member of the Eastern Star. She was active for years at St. Luke’s Anglican Church. Kay was a selfless volunteer and always made time for others and the community. She and Frank were 40 year Roughriders season ticket holders. She always put her family ahead of herself and will be deeply missed. Thank you to the staff at Elmview Extendicare for the care provided to Kay. Memorial Service will be held at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 3233 Argyle Road, Regina, SK on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Kay may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 919B Albert Street, Regina, SK S4R 2P6 or to the Alzheimer Society, 301-2550 12^th Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3X1.
