Obituary of Darrel Earl Warren

It is with great sadness that the family of Darrel Warren announces the passing of our husband, father and grandfather on August 30, 2019. Darrel passed away in Santa Maria surrounded family.

He was predeceased by his parents Harry and Flavia Warren.  Darrel is remembered by his wife of 55 years, Doreen Warren; son Devin (Joyce) Warren; daughter Danean Millard (Shannon); grandchildren Heidi Warren (Trevor), Derris (Emma) Warren, and Britany Millard; as well as many other family and friends.

Darrel was a man who never missed an opportunity to visit with anyone he knew. He worked for Codville Grocery Wholesale for 35 years.  Being a lifelong sports fan, he was a season ticket holder with the Regina Pats and the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Darrel and Doreen enjoyed Tuesday night golf with friends, time spent in Waskesiu and later at their cottage in Buena Vista.  He will be deeply missed at family gatherings. 

Darrel's Celebration of Life will be held at the Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK, on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 3:30 p.m. and is open to anyone who wishes to come and celebrate this remarkable man. This event is casual and those attending are welcome to wear a sports jersey or a golf shirt.
