To Melveen's Family: We are sad to hear that Melveen has passed away. We knew Mel during our high school (Thom) years and enjoyed many great parties in Pense with Mel and our friends. Mel was a friendly, caring person with a big heart, she will be missed by the many people who had the privilege to know her.

My deepest condolences to not only the family and close friends, but to the whole community of Pense. Melveen was core to the Pense community, always the greeter and always so sincere. She loved her family, friends and community deeply. She will be missed. I regret being out of province, as I would have been with you on Friday for sure. Mel was an incredible hard worker. She never stopped until all the work was done. No matter what work was given to Mel she took a lot of pride to ensure the work was completed flawless. She was a great friend to everyone that knew her. If you asked Mel a question, you knew it was honest and straight to the point. Mel was an amazing lady and friend.
