Clarence Braybrook

Obituary of Clarence David Braybrook

Clarence Braybrook of Regina SK, passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side, on October 19, 2019.  Clarence lost his fight after a two year battle with congestive heart failure. Left to mourn are his loving wife of 60 years Ellen Braybrook (nee Morrow); children Gail (Neil) Vandermeulen, Blake (Sandy) Braybrook, Lynn Braybrook (Darcy Ollenberger), and six grandchildren; Brent Vandermeulen, Mark Vandermeulen (Linaya Schroeder), Aaron  Vanderlot-Vandermeulen (Brittany Vanderlot nee Pirlot), Riley Braybrook, Jaimie Braybrook, and Alyssa Braybrook.  Clarence was born in Virden MB to Herb and Madge Braybrook.  He met and married Ellen Morrow on August 12, 1959.  The oilfield industry kept him employed for over 30 years, but his real passions were hockey, curling, golf and playing bridge.  There was always time for one more game of Kaiser and another dance with Ellen.  Curling  in a bonspiel with his kids or grandkids was always a highlight for him.  He was always a Blue Jays fan, and quick to bet a dollar on his Winnipeg Blue Bombers.  A member of the Lakeside Lion’s Club for many years, Clarence gave his time by collecting glasses for CNIB and working Bingo or jingling the bells at Christmas.  Clarence, Dad, Grandpa, we love you and miss you. A private family farewell will be held at a later date.  Friends so wishing may make donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
