Dear Alecia, A while ago my mum asked me to come and fetch the box with my old letters and today I found one from you (13 Feb 91!). Do you still remember me, your German friend from 1981 (was it?)? I am so sorry that my hour-long google research for you has led me to your dad‘s obituary. So, my thoughts do not only go to you today but also to him. I still remember those summer holidays with your family very fondly. I was so grateful for your dad’s and your mum‘s kindness to me. And how your dad made me say „howdy“ to the first American we met on our trip...he had a great sense of humour! I hope you‘re indeed the Alecia nee Campbell, I think you are. If you are, it would be wonderful to hear how you are and how life‘s been treating you since we last wrote to each other. I wish you all the best for now! Katharina
