It’s with sadness that I heard of the passing of my friend Weldy. My wife and I spent time with Weldy & Audrey during our days together with the Associated Canadian Travellers and the Saskatchewan Lung Association.
Our sincere condolences to the family.

Weldy always had a big smile and a story to share. The last time we visited with him was at College Park II. The sun was streaming through the windows and he talked about how he was trying hard to keep Alma's plants healthy and how he liked to walk down to the Cornwall Centre with his walker. He was a man to be admired!

Weldy was a neighbour on College Avenue for some years. Everyone should have a neighbour like Weldy. He was a kind, considerate and friendly person. And, as someone who was born in the Netherlands, I always appreciated is service during WW2. Please accept my sincere sympathy.

I met Weldie through Masons and found him to be a man always willing to lend an ear and share his Masonic knowledge. He will be sadly missed by many.

Thinking my time working with Weldy on the Buffalo Days Parade Committee, he was a firecracker! When I became involved with the Legion, I was thrilled to see Mr. Moffat. He was an incredible person to know, I will never forget Weldon.
