Obituary of Linda Arlene Darrah

DARRAH, Linda Arlene

(née Trithart)

July 17, 1951 – October 31, 2019

It is with great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Linda, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend on Thursday, October 31, 2019. Born in Grenfell, she grew up in the Oakshela area and graduated high school in Broadview, Saskatchewan. She moved to Regina to continue her studies and in 1973 she met Norm; they were married on February 23, 1974. Linda leaves to mourn her husband of 45 years, Norm; sons, Patrick William Darrah and Shawn Ronald Darrah (Heather); daughter, Erin Michelle Darrah-Taylor (Tom); grandchildren Kaleb and Peyton; brothers, Darryl, Greg, and Elmer; sisters, Gladys and Gerry as well as nieces, nephews, and friends. She loved camping and going on “just another road” trips. The memories from these adventures are numerous and filled with love. She also enjoyed painting/sketching, jigsaw and logic puzzles. She had passion for books and had acquired a vast library over the years. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue Regina, SK, on Thursday, November 7, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Linda’s memory to The Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation, #26-1738 Quebec Avenue, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 1V9 or The Saskatchewan Diabetes Association, 919B Albert Street, Regina, SK, S4R 2P6.
