VOELPEL, Carl “Charlie” Jacob

November 25, 1928 - November 7, 2019

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Charlie, late of Southey, SK, on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at the age of 90 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Adam and Caroline; and his sisters, Katie, Irene, and Elsie. Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Delores; their four daughters, Brenda (Gerry), children Jillane (Paul), Kale (Jessica), Brodie (Taryn); Leslie (Rudy), children Riley (Stephanie), Tanner; Kim (Dan), children Braeden (Karlee), Sydney; and Carla (Blake) children Maija, Nolan; and three great-grandchildren. Charlie was a hardworking, passionate farmer for all his life and when the work was done, he always loved a good party! A Celebration of Charlie’s Life will be held at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Southey, SK, on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Special thanks to Southey First Responders, Strasbourg Ambulance EMT and the doctors and nurses at the Pasqua Hospital ER for their compassion and amazing care.
