Also to the Corrigan's...Peter was such a big energy + almost enough to fit into your great family...

I have missed Peter since he left Oxbow, we always fished at the same spot, him and Skeeter, who were always there. So many laughs, cannot explain it, a special friendship from just sitting on the rocks!! Such a great man. See ya later Peter

Our sympathies to Peter's family; we remember him as a pleasant and friendly man always ready to crack a joke or comment. He always donated pickles to the Galloway Auxiliary soup and sandwich luncheons. May happy memories bring you comfort.

The Bartnik family were the first we met when we moved to town. They were always so welcoming. Peter was loud and a tease, but so much fun. He was a great example of a loving Dad and husband . Always so proud of his children and loyal to Sheila's memory. He was such a good friend to Mom and Dad over the years; visiting Dad regularly even when Dad didn't recognize him. " An example of a Good Shepherd" in both his faith and through his action. You will be missed Peter, my Friend! Love and
Sympathy to your family.

Sheila worked at the Royal bank when I first came to Glen Ewen so my friendship with the family started there. I had many great visits with Peter over the years as he was always sure to put his order in for strawberries for his family. All I had to do was knock on his door and I was sure to be invited in for a visit and lengthy chat. I will miss him. So sorry for your loss.

I have to admit that I was a little scared of Peter as a kid - such a big voice and it was always so boisterous at the Bartnik’s! I’m so glad that I got to know his friendliness and humour while we were catching up on “Kimberley” and the rest of the kids. I know that you will have many stories to share. All the very best to you all!
