Obituary of Martyn Arnold

It is with great sadness that we announce that, after fighting a hard battle with cancer, Norman Martyn Arnold passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019, at the age of 62 years. He will be lovingly remembered most for his devotion to his family, his passion for football and love for his dogs Keiko and Zamora. He was predeceased by his wife Noreen Arnold; father Bernard Arnold; mother Geraldine Phelan; step-father Larry Phelan; and brothers Shawn Phelan and Timothy McNeil. Left to cherish his memory and celebrate his life is: step-mother Moreen Arnold (nee Perrault); siblings Lloyd (Linda) Arnold, Donna (Kevin) Selinger, Ronda (Tim) Glover, Michael (Crystal) Phelan, Kelly Phelan and Bernie Hanson; children Jessica (Danny) Morris, Leonard (Jill) Arnold, Mark (Alicia) Arnold, Stacy (Curtis) Kowalchuk, Melynda (Aaron) Berube, Ronald (Julie) Erikson and Shay Lynn Arnold; grandchildren Kayden & Kyler Arnold, Teegan & Ethan Arnold, Madyson, Rylan & Easton Kowalchuk, and Mia & Justice Berube; and many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and volunteers of the Palliative Care Unit, Pasqua Hospital for their excellent care, compassion and support during Martyn’s last days. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Martyn’s memory to Regina Palliative Care. A private gathering to celebrate Martyn’s life will be held with his family and close friends, at a later date.
