Obituary of Jerome Anton Brodner

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Jerome Brodner on December 30, 2019 at the age of 79. He is survived by his son Brian August (Jennifer) and his sister Mildred Brodner. He was predeceased by his parents Anton Brodner and Anna Brodner (nee Ottenbreit); his first wife Sheila Brodner (nee Tegart) and second wife Mary Brodner (nee Chomyn) (formerly August). Jerome grew up on a farm near Dysart, SK and later moved into town. He eventually settled in Regina attending Sacred Heart and Scott Collegiate. He began his work as a commercial plumber then spent 35 years with the City of Regina managing the tree nursery and working in forestry. He enjoyed travelling, country music, playing cards, animals and nature. He maintained a strong faith in the Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Child Catholic Church, 7th Avenue East, Regina, SK, on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of SK. 279 -3rd Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8.
