Obituary of Marion Doreen Bear

Doreen passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 7, 2020. She was predeceased by husband Mervin Bear; common-law husband Dwight “Skip” Mulvay; son Gary Bear; parents, Douglas and Maryann Gaddie; sisters, Sandra Gaddie, Sharon Lindstrom, Debra Gaddie, and Betty Gaddie; brother Doug Gaddie; and her four legged friend Panda. Doreen is survived by daughter Cheryl (Ken) Thomas; grandson Tyrell Bear (MacKenzie); brother Gordon (Karen) Gaddie; sisters, Charlotte Gaddie and Lee (Don) Gaddie-Anderson; numerous nieces and nephews; and her dear friend Terry Reese. Doreen worked for the Provincial Government for many years and had many friends. As well, she had many friends who will miss her from the Qu’Appelle area. As per Doreen’s wishes, she will be interred in the Qu’Appelle Cemetery on Sunday, May 17, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life and reception to follow at the Lions Club in Qu’Appelle, SK.
