Obituary of Robert Stanley Walker

Bob, late of Punnichy, SK, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at the age of 92, at the Silver Heights Special Care Home in Raymore with his family at his side. He was born on June 25, 1927 on the farm east of town, the third child of Walter (Bill) and Hilda (Knights) Walker. Bob spent his days on the farm or in Punnichy - there is nothing he loved more than being on the farm or visiting friends. He was predeceased by his parents; his wife Thelma (Anderson); his sister Nancy (Stockdale); and his brother John. Bob is survived by his children Tracy, Teresa, and Trevor; sister-in-law Elizabeth (Murray); grandchildren Jennifer, Philip, and Trevor; great-grandchildren Anthony, Emily, and Brittany; numerous nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends. Interment and a celebration of life will be held at the Punnichy Cemetery in the spring prior to seeding.
