Obituary of Elmer Woytuik

Eugene Elmer Woytuik, known to all as Elmer passed away on January 16th with his family by his side. Elmer was born on January 11, 1932 and lived to the age of 88 years. He was predeceased by his parents Daniel and Anna; brothers Mike, Bob, and Ed Woytuik, and sister Nancy Louison. Elmer is survived by his wife of 64 years Marion; one sister Rose Novakowski and one brother Stanley. He is also survived by his daughters Debbie (Perry) Konanz; Dawn Rousseau; sons Robert (Renee) Woytuik; Richard Woytuik; and Ron Woytuik, all of Regina. He will be sadly missed by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Elmer was born and raised on a farm near Orolow, Saskatchewan. He met and married Marion in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan in 1955. He worked as an X-Ray Technician for the majority of his career. He loved his family very much and loved to help his siblings with seeding and harvest for as many years as he was able. The Funeral service will be held Thursday January 23, 2020, 11:00 a.m., at St. Basils Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1747 Toronto Street, Regina Saskatchewan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Elmer to the Neo-Natal Intensive Care (NICU) Unit 2E, Regina General Hospital, 1440 14th Ave., Regina SK, S4P 0W5.
