Obituary of Eda Lindenbach

Eda, age 103, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 19, 2020. She was a long-time resident and active participant in the community of Davin, SK. In 1990, she moved to Regina and for the past 13 years has lived at the Victoria Park Personal Care Community where she received excellent care. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years, Herman; one brother, Henry; five sisters, Flora, Olga, Tillie, Lena and Martha; and two grandsons Freddy Jacobson and Alfie Hamrin. Eda is survived by four daughters, Myrna Hamrin-White Fox, SK, Joyce (Roger) Jacobson-Caronport, SK, Lois (Clint) Moffatt-Saskatoon, SK, and Denise Lindenbach-Regina, SK; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and special friend Donna Katzberg. Visitation will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. Following a private interment at Regina Memorial Gardens, a Celebration of Eda’s Life will be held at the Balgonie Baptist Church, 102 Griffin Road, Balgonie, SK, on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Fellowship lunch immediately follow the service. Family and friends so wishing, may make memorial donations in Eda’s name to the Balgonie Baptist Church Memorial Fund, Box 436, Balgonie, SK, S0G 0E0.
