Obituary of Lloyd John Heck

Lloyd, age 88 years of Regina, SK, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020. He was born in 1931 at Lang, SK to Anton and Dorothy Heck. Lloyd was predeceased by his parents; sisters, Mary and Molly; his brothers, George and Gerald; daughter Michele; and son Bradley. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Lavonne; son Brent (Monique); daughter-in-law Debbie (Al), Chris (Kylie) and Brenden (Krystel); daughter Corlyn, Brittany (Cole) and Andrew; son Scott (Tammy), Angel (Cody) and Bryton; brother James. Lloyd worked at SGI for 32 years before retiring in 1982 as Director of Marketing. He was known to set a fashion trend in the office. During his life Lloyd enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golf when living in the northern part of the province. Once retired, he and Lavonne enjoyed their winters in Arizona, many bus trips, cruises and motorhome trips. Lloyd was outgoing, friendly, humorous and witty. He loved music, and often would create his own lyrics to suit the situation. The family would like to send out a special thanks to everyone at Riverbend Crossing Memory Care. His singing there will undoubtedly be missed. Lloyd will be dearly missed by family and friends. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
