Dear Clayton family and all family of Rick,
My deepest condolences to you all with this sad news I just heard. So very tragic to hear of Rick's passing. My memories of Rick were his infectious grin, his sense of humour, and his ability to lift the room when he was in it. Loved his wit and his perspectives on the things we all would go thru in high school. It was fun running things past him because he always found an edge or angle to it that was usually pretty funny. Lots of fun with the Outdoor Ed group in high school. Great memories.
We are thinking of Rick and all of you at this time.

Donna (MOM) and Carol, so sorry and shocked to learn of Ricks passing. We were such good friends in high school and outdoor ed just wouldn't have been the experience it was without him. Many friends have been sharing how we all wanted to reconnect with Rick over the years but it always ended up not happening. We loved your Son (brother) as an other brother. He was always a true friend with a kind heart and a laugh and humor we'll all never forget. My heart is with you all. Rick, rest well bro.

I am so saddened by this. My condolences to Rick's family and especially his mom donna who I also worked with. Probably been a couple of years since I last worked with him. I have known him for 29 years since he was there when I first started at supreme. After he moved back from edmonton and worked with me again i was giving him rides home after work and we had lots of chats on the way home.

Rick had such a gentle soft voice and smile. One of my favourite memories is how Rick would play jokes on his sisters by phoning them, leaving silly messages or even just saying a word or two and then hanging up and for some reason sometimes I ended up in the mix and we would all giggle like crazy like it was the funniest thing ever.

Rick, you were a thoughtful and kind soul. I met you through our love of music. Didn’t always agree, but we compromised. I will always remember you.., and your favourite song.
