This is a great photo of her, showing her lovely smile! I have many good memories of visiting Uncle John and Aunt Bernadette’s house. One of which was being served homemade lasagna. It had a unique (good!) taste.....Scottish influence? And of course her scones. I cherish the recipe that Aunt Bernadette wrote out for me. Mom (Bertha) and Aunt Bernadette loved visiting each other. At least once a year, mom would fly out to Regina or Bernadette would come out to Vancouver. They would sit and drink tea and chat for hours. Years ago, John, Bernadette, Rudy and Bertha enjoyed vacationing in Hawaii together. Aunt Bernadette will surely be missed. -Caroline (Schoen) Kemper
