Borgie was a wonderful caring person. She was a character with a quick whit. She always had a funny name when she saw you. Miss Muffet comes to mind. Borgie loved telling stories or showing pictures of her kids and grand/great grand kids usually she’d have a wink and a smile. She will be missed by all and we are richer for knowing and sharing time with her. We are honoured she called us friends. Nice to think of her together with Matt again. Please accept our deepest sympathy.

Mr. and Mrs. Duignan were always on our Hallowe’en list when, as children, my brothers and I would be taken round to visit neighbours and friends by our dad. As Pat was a regular babysitter for us, the Duignans were assured a place on the list.
Later in life, I would see Mrs. Duignan out in her garden, as I rumbled by in various Regina Transit buses. Occasionally I would have a few minutes to spare at the McTavish Street bus stop, and would walk over to say hello to Borgie, and catch up on news.
I have since retired from Transit, Borgie’s wonderful garden has long since faded, and now Borgie too has moved on.
I imagine Borgie can now tend a most magnificent garden, which both she and Matt can once again enjoy together.
Gives us all something to look forward to.
Our Condolences to Pat, Rae, and their families.
From Jan, for Galen, and Leif Stricker.

Borgie was such an active, capable, caring, delightful person! She was a wonderful neighbour. A visit with her usually in the yard or in the lane was always enjoyable. To her family, who always took such good care of her, my sincere condolences & wish that many happy memories will soothe your loss.

’Borgi was the first person I met in Tim’s family. I introduced myself as the mother and she introduced herself as the granny. She was a beautiful lady who will be sadly missed by all. R.I.P. condolences to Rae, Pat and all the family. Sandy Len Mitchell
