I only met Wilf in recent years. He would come to our church occasionally, with his friend Joyce, and every encounter I ever had with Wilf left me with the impression of a kind and sweet soul. He struck me as a gentleman through and through. What I knew of Wilf was little compared to those who knew him long and well. But what I knew, I enjoyed and admired. That much is sure.
