Obituary of Patricia Louise Elaine Sotkowy

Pat passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at the Pasqua Palliative Care unit just shy of her 90th birthday, surrounded by family. She was born in Walpole, Saskatchewan, the youngest of 10 children and the last surviving member. She was predeceased by her husbands, Frank Sotkowy and George Brooks; her parents, Seymour and Annie Shatford; her sisters Elsie Youngson, Nora Hammond, Irma Olson, Orpha Scott, Verla Miller, Jo Davidson and Gwen Clark; and her brothers Peter Shatford and Gordon Shatford. Pat is greatly missed by her daughter Paula (Terry) Johns; her son David (Juanita) and grandchildren Tiffany (Jason) Edie, Jay (Beth) and Eric; her son Shawn (Tracy) and grandson Brayden; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She will also be missed by many friends and neighbours and her loving companion, her dog, Annie. Many thanks to the amazing staff at both the General Hospital and Pasqua Palliative Care units for their dedicated care and compassion. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
